Shri Shani-Gajanan Shaktipeeth is located in the Morghadi village of Sanavad near Omkareshwar. In this Shaktipeeth, one can see the rare and wonderful Lord Uchchishta Mahaganapati, in whose lap Bhagwati Neel Saraswati is seated. Uchchishta Mahaganapati is a form of Lord Ganesha, whose mere sight fulfills all wishes.

The form of Uchchishta Ganapati is very rare. The only temple of Uchchishta Ganapati in India is in a very dilapidated condition near Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu, which is 1300-1400 years old. Apart from this, there is mention of such a temple in China. They say that the Uchchhishta Ganapati form is mentioned in the Atharvaveda. They are also mentioned in the texts named Mantra Maharnava and Mantra Mahodadhi. In Satyuga, this form of Ganesha was worshiped by Maharishi Bhrigu and Maharishi Garg, while in Treta Yuga, monkey king Sugriva and Ravana's younger brother Vibhishana worshiped Uchchishta Ganapati. Sage Parashar in Dwapar and Adi Shankaracharya in Kalyug worshiped this form of Ganesha. Along with this, all the worshipers of Shri Vidya have been continuously worshiping Uchchishta Ganapati.

This temple opens once a month on the day of Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha. They can be visited on this day. In the evening of Chaturthi, after the Mahaarti, the small idol of Ganesha is brought out to the Kirti Stambh and all the devotees sit with their feet facing forward. Everyone gets the blessings of God in turn. There is a belief about the Kirti Stambh built here that the one who looks at it from bottom to top, his fame increases.

This form of Ganesha is going to give quick results. As compared to other forms of Ganesha, Uchchhishta Ganapati gives results ten times faster. The benefit that is obtained by chanting is 1.25 lakhs, and the same result is obtained by chanting twelve and a half thousand chants of Uchchishta Ganapati. Just seeing this form of Ganapati brings wisdom, position, prestige, opulence, wealth-prosperity, family happiness-peace, longevity, early marriage, and removal of malefic planets. With their meditation, the stock of food grains increases, as well as the business also increases. Uchchhishta is the classical method of worship and darshan of Ganapati.
