Ingredients to make Moong Dal Halwa
     Magnolia- Soak in 1/2 cup water for 5 to 6 hours
     Ghee - 1/2 cup
     Sugar – 1/2 cup (mixed with water and milk)
     Water – 1 cup
     Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
     Almonds, roasted – 2 tbsp

How to make Moong Dal Halwa

1. To make moong halwa, first wash the moong and grind it coarsely.

2. After this heat the milk mixture and let it boil and heat as required.


3. Now add ghee and pulses in a pan and fry it well while stirring continuously on low flame.

4. Add the milk mixture to the fried lentils, mix well, and cook on low flame so that all the water and milk dries up completely. Fry well again until the ghee separates.

5. Add cardamom powder and half almonds and mix well.

6. Take out the halwa in a serving dish, garnish the moong dal halwa with the remaining almonds, and serve hot.
