Gulab Sevaiyaan
It is impossible for any Indian festival to not be made without making kheer. This time you can make your ordinary kheer even more delicious by giving it a little twist. To make this, you will need rose syrup and some dry rose petals along with other ingredients for making vermicelli. While making vermicelli, mix rose syrup and petals in milk and let it cook for 4-5 minutes. Your special kheer is ready.
Chocolate Mohanthal
Mohanthal is a traditional sweet of Gujarat. It is very tasty to eat. This Diwali you can make Mohanthal in a slightly different style. To make chocolate mohanthal, mix ghee in gram flour and filter it so that your mohanthal remains granular. Now heat ghee in a pan and fry the gram flour in it until it starts releasing ghee. After this, dissolve cocoa powder in milk and mix it in gram flour. Make syrup by boiling sugar and water mix it with gram flour and keep stirring it on gas for some time. After this, take it out in a tray let it cool down cut it into desired sizes, and serve it to your guests on the occasion of Diwali.
Oats Barfi
All the sweets we eat on Diwali are not beneficial for our health. But this oats barfi is not only tasty but also healthy. To make this, roast oats in ghee on one side on gas and add khoya to it. On the other side of the gas, make sugar syrup and add it to the oats. Cook until the oats start releasing ghee and add cardamom powder to it for flavor. Take it out on a plate, cool it, cut it into squares, and serve.
Apple Laddu
Different from your traditional laddus, these laddus will add charm to your Diwali menu. It is very easy to make these. Heat ghee in a pan and roast cashew nuts in it until they turn golden brown. After this, add cardamom powder and grated apple in the pan. After some time add grated coconut into it. When the paste becomes thick, turn off the gas and let it cool a little. After this, shape them into laddus and garnish with grated coconut.
