Ingredients for making Matar Cabbage Kofta
Cabbage chopped - 1 bowl
Peas - 1 bowl
Green chili - 2-3
Gram flour – 1/2 bowl
Green coriander leaves - 3-4 tbsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
Fennel-coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
salt - as per taste

For gravy
Tomato – 5-6
Thick green chili - 1
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Dry mango - 1 tsp
Fennel-coriander powder – 2 tsp
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Kasuri fenugreek - 1 tsp
White Sesame - 1 tsp
Cream - 2 tbsp
Butter – 1 tbsp
Oil - for frying
salt - as per taste

Pea Cabbage Kofta Recipe
To make Matar Cabbage Kofta, first cut the cabbage and peel the peas and take out the seeds. Now put cabbage and peas in the mixer jar. Add a piece of ginger, green chili, and green coriander to it and grind them all. Now take out this cabbage-pea paste in a big bowl. Add turmeric, red chili powder, chaat masala, and all other dry spices to this paste and mix well. Then prepare a paste by adding gram flour and salt as per taste.
Now put oil in a pan and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, make koftas from the prepared paste and put them in the pan, and fry them. Fry the koftas till they become crisp and golden and then take them out in a vessel. Prepare koftas from all the paste in the same way and keep them aside.

Now cut the tomatoes into pieces and grind them in the mixer, add a piece of ginger to it, and prepare the puree. Now put some oil in the pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin, green chilies, and asafoetida and fry. When the spices are roasted, add the prepared tomato puree to it and cook. After cooking the puree for some time, add all the dry spices and mix them well.

After adding the spices, cover the pan and cook the puree. After some time add butter to the puree and mix it with a big spoon. After this add white sesame seeds to the puree. After some time, when the puree starts boiling and leaves the oil, add water as needed. After this, cook the gravy till it thickens. When the gravy becomes thick, add kasoori fenugreek, coriander leaves, and salt as per taste. Then mix cream and cook. After the gravy is ready, add fried koftas to it and mix it well with a spoon. Tasty Cabbage Peas Koftas are ready. Garnish them with sesame seeds, coriander leaves, and cream, and serve.
