It will be auspicious to worship Dhanteras in the evening during Pradosh Kaal, twilight time, and stable ascendant from 17-43 pm to 19-39 pm. During this period, it would be very good to buy utensils, jewelry, clothes, and household items.
Importance of shopping on Dhanteras
Apart from utensils and gold and silver, it is considered auspicious to purchase vehicles, real estate deals, luxury items, and other household items during the auspicious time on Dhanteras. It is believed that the movable and immovable property purchased on Dhanteras increased 13 times. Buying gold, silver, and utensils on Dhanteras is equivalent to Kuber Yantra. Apart from this, buying a broom is also considered auspicious. There is also a tradition of bringing whole coriander home on this day. On the day of Dhanteras, one must worship Lord Dhanvantari, Mata Lakshmi, Kuber, Yamraj, and Lord Ganesha.
