Dahi Bhalla Recipe: Traditionally, urad dal is used to make Dahi Bhalla, but semolina is also used for instant Dahi Bhalla. You can make Dahi Bhalla in both ways. Let's know the easy recipe for making Dahi Bhalla.

Ingredients to make Dahi Bhalla
Urad Dal - half kg
Cumin coarsely ground - 1 tsp
Roasted cumin powder – 4 tbsp
Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 2-3 tsp
black salt - as per taste
Ginger powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder - 2 tsp
Green chili chopped - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - 1 cup
Cashew nuts chopped - 1/2 cup
Raisins - 1/2 cup
Pomegranate seeds - 2-3 tbsp
Sweet curd - 1 cup
Tamarind Chutney - as needed
oil - as required
Plain salt - as per taste

How to make Dahi Bhalla
To make Tasty Dahi Bhalla, first clean and wash Urad Dal thoroughly. After this keep it soaked in water for about 3 hours. Then take out the urad dal from the water and grind it with the help of a mixer to make a paste. Now add asafoetida powder to the prepared paste and mix well. Whisk the prepared paste until it becomes light and shiny. After this, mix roasted cumin, green chili, ginger, coriander, cashew, raisins, and salt as per taste in urad dal paste.

Now put oil in a pan and heat it on low flame. When the oil becomes hot, make balls from the prepared dal paste and put them in the pan. Before making balls, apply some oil on your hands, so that the balls can be made better. Deep fry the Balkans till they turn light golden. When the bhallas are made, put them in hot salt water and leave them for some time. By doing this, the extra oil of the bhallas will come out and they will become very soft.

In the same way, prepare bhalle from all the dal paste. Now squeeze out the water from the prepared bhallas and put them on a plate and sprinkle sweet curd, tamarind chutney, green coriander leaves, pomegranate seeds, chaat masala, garam masala, and a little roasted cumin over it. Sweet and sour dahi Bhalla full of taste is ready to serve.
