Children’s Day 2023: There are many such days throughout the year, so they are special for someone or the other. One such day is celebrated every year as Children's Day for children. Every year, Children's Day is celebrated on 14 November on the occasion of the birthday of the country's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. If you are also organizing a party on this occasion, then you can prepare these easy but healthy and tasty dishes for children.


Cheesy Millets Noodles

Instant Millet Noodles- 1 packet
Water- 2 cups
Cheddar Cheese- 1/2 cup
Mozzarella Cheese- 1/2 cup
Milk- 1/4 cup
Butter- 2 tbsp
Garlic powder- 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Method of making
First of all, take 2 cups of water in a vessel, add noodles to it, and boil it.
Cook them until they become soft, then filter and keep aside.
Now melt butter in the same vessel on medium flame and then add garlic powder and fry for some time.
After this add milk in it and let it cook on low flame.
Then reduce the flame and slowly add cheddar and mozzarella cheese to the milk and keep stirring until it melts completely.
Now add cooked instant millet noodles to this melted cheese and mix well.
Finally, you can further enhance its taste by adding salt and black pepper to it.

Uttapam Pizza

Idli Dosa Batter – 2 cups
Olive oil- 2-3 tbsp
Onion- 1 small
Sweet Corn- 2 tbsp
Capsicum- 1
Tomato- 1/2
salt as per taste
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
chili flakes as per taste
oregano as per taste
Pizza Sauce- 1 cup
Pizza Cheese – 1 cup

Method of making
First of all, heat one tablespoon of olive oil. Then add onion and fry for some time and then add the rest of the vegetables.
Now fry it on high flame for 2 minutes and then add salt, black pepper, oregano, and chili flakes and mix.
After this, pour a ladle full of Idli Dosa batter in the same pan and spread it thickly like Uttapam.
Then cover it and cook for 2 minutes and then turn off the flame.
Now turn it over and add pizza sauce, cheese, vegetables, oregano, and chili flakes and cook.
After this, spread some olive oil in it cover, and cook on low flame for 2 minutes.
Check it after 2 minutes and put it on the pan so that it gets cooked properly.
Finally, cover and cook for 2 more minutes. Then serve hot.

Choco Almond Muffins
Cocoa powder- 4 tbsp
Coarsely ground flour – 2 tbsp
Almonds- 10-12 (chopped)
Eggs- 4
Sugar- 1 cup
Flour- 3 tbsp
Melted butter- 4 tbsp


Method of making
First of all, preheat the oven to 180°C. Then break the eggs in a bowl.
Now add sugar to it and blend with a hand blender until frothy.
Then sift the flour and cocoa powder in a bowl add chopped almonds to it and mix.
Now slowly add this flour mixture to the egg and during this time keep mixing it continuously with the blender.
Then add melted butter to it and mix well.
After this, pour the batter into the muffin mold till it is half-filled.
Then sprinkle chopped almonds on top and bake in a pre-heated oven for twenty to twenty-five minutes.
