Satvik food is eaten during Navratri fast and tamasic food is avoided. So avoid eating onion, garlic, wheat flour, rice, brinjal, and mushroom this fast. Along with this, stay away from too many fried and sweet things during the fast. Include fruits and vegetables instead. By which you will remain healthy.
