When is Durga Ashtami of Chaitra Navratri?
This year Durga Ashtami of Chaitra Navratri is on 29th March, Wednesday. On this day, Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month is at 09:07 pm. Mother Mahagauri is worshiped on the day of Mahashtami or Durga Ashtami. Maa Mahagauri is the eighth avatar or form of Maa Durga.

Ravi Yoga and Shobhan Yoga are formed on the day of Durga Ashtami. Ravi Yoga is from 08:07 the night to 06:14 in the morning the next day. On this day Shobhan Yoga is from early morning till late night till 12:13.

When is Mahanavami?
This year the Mahanavami fast of Chaitra Navratri is on 30 March. This day is Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month, it is till 11.30 pm. Mother Siddhidatri is worshiped on the day of Mahanavami or Durga Navami. She is the 9th incarnation of Maa Durga. She is the giver of all kinds of achievements.
