What work will a CGHS cardholder have to do?

As per the notification issued by the ministry, the CGHS beneficiary will have to link his CGHS card with the ABHA number. To complete this work, cardholders can visit their nearest CGHS welfare center.

The beneficiary will have to update his mobile number.

Apart from this, beneficiaries can also correct mistakes like name, year of birth, or gender.

CGHS cardholder has to link his CGHS ID with the Aabha number.

What is the ABHA number?

People who have Ayushman Bharat Health Account Card get a 14-digit unique ID number. This number is called ABHA ID or ABHA number. This number is used to link all health records.

On April 4, 2024, the ministry said that free registration can be done in Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) for creating Abha number or health ID.
