Now only a few days are left for the month of March to end, after which April will begin. Like every month, this month too the Reserve Bank of India has released the list of bank holidays. There will be only 16 days of bank holiday in the month of April. This month, banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days including festivals, birth anniversaries, and Saturday-Sunday. In this, some holidays will be valid only according to the states.

1 April 2024- There will be a bank holiday on 1 April due to the closing of bank accounts at the end of the financial year.
5 April 2024- Due to Babu Jagjivan Ram's birthday and Jumat-ul-Vida, there will be a bank holiday in Srinagar, Jammu, and Telangana.
7 April 2024- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.
9 April 2024- Banks will remain closed in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji and Srinagar due to Gudi Padwa/Ugadi Festival/Telugu New Year and first Navratri.

10 April 2024- Bank holiday in Kochi and Kerala due to Eid.
11 April 2024- Bank holiday across the country due to Eid.
13 April 2024- Banks will remain closed across the country due to the second Saturday of the month.
14 April 2024- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.

15 April 2024- Due to Himachal Day, there will be a holiday for banks in Guwahati and Shimla zones.
17 April 2024- On the festival of Shri Ram Navami, there will be a holiday for banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai and Nagpur.
20 April 2024- There will be a bank holiday in Agartala due to Garia Puja.
21 April 2024- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.
27 April 2024- Banks will remain closed across the country due to the fourth Saturday.
28 April 2024- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.
