Bank Charges: Bank customers have to pay 7 types of charges, know here...

Nowadays everyone uses banking services. These services are available both online and offline. Be it an SMS transaction, fund transfer, check clearance, or the facility to withdraw money from an ATM, but no facility is completely free. Banks charge different types of charges from customers for their services. But do you know how many types of these charges are there? Let us tell you how banks cut your pockets every year…

Cash Transaction- Every bank allows cash transactions only up to a certain limit. If you do cash transactions more than that limit, then you have to pay a charge for it. Usually in government banks, it ranges from Rs 20 to Rs 100.

Minimum Balance- The balance in the bank account has to be maintained up to a certain limit. If the amount in your account is less than that, then you have to pay a minimum balance charge.
IMPS Charges- All banks have made NEFT and RTGS transactions free for customers, but most of the banks still charge for IMPS transactions. This charge can range from Rs 1 to Rs 25.

Check Fees and Check Clearance- If your check is up to Rs 1 lakh, then you do not have to pay any charge to the bank, but for checks more than this, you have to pay clearance charges. This charge is Rs 150.

ATM Transaction- A free facility to withdraw cash from an ATM is available only up to a limit. Most banks charge Rs 20-50 for this.

SMS Charges-The bank sends you an alert message when money is credited or debited to your account. Banks charge you for this also.

Card Replacement- If your debit card is lost then you have to pay a charge to get another card. This charge can range from Rs 50 to Rs 500. Different charges have been fixed by each bank.
