Ayushman Yojana Benefits: The Bihar government has decided to extend the benefits of Ayushman Yojana to all the ration card holders of the state. After the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said, “This is a big decision taken by the NDA government in Bihar. Bihar government will now provide free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year to all ration card holders in the state under AB PM-JAY. He said, "At present about 1.2 crore people in the state are availing the facility of AB PM-JAY. Chaudhary said, "Now about 58 lakh people will also be covered in the state who are beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act." After today's decision of the state cabinet, he said. Now about two crore people in the state will be covered under AB PM-JAY.
