Android 15 Feature Expectations: Google is working on its mobile operating system Android 15 these days. Regarding the upcoming Android 15, it is being said that a big update is being given for Pixel users. Pixel users will be able to easily locate their lost smartphone.

Android Police has said in its report that Find My Device will work even if it is turned off in Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Google's upcoming phones. This update may start coming with the upcoming Android 15.

What is the Find My Device feature?
With the help of the Find My Device feature in Android, users can easily track their lost phone. This is a Bluetooth-based tracking mechanism, which does not work when the smartphone is turned off.

How will the new feature work
To deal with this, the company can introduce Powered Off Finding. This new system will control device memory with precomputed Bluetooth beacons.

However, for this, some changes will have to be made in the hardware of the device, so that the Bluetooth control will continue to get power supply when the phone is switched off. Along with this, Bluetooth Finder will support Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) to share device details.

Android expert Mishal Rehman has given detailed information about this while sharing a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He has also claimed that this feature will be provided in Google's upcoming smartphones Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
