Example: If you are a shopkeeper and someone comes to you to get a SIM and he shows you the Aadhaar card for identity. So how will you prove whether it is real or fake? To avoid fraud, you can check it immediately and on your phone. There are two ways to do this. The first method is a QR code scanner and the second is a UIDAI site.

How to do an Aadhaar with a QR Code Scanner
You must have noticed that there is a QR Code Scanner on the right side of all Aadhaar Cards. On scanning this QR Code, the details given on Aadhaar become visible. You scan the QR code of your Aadhaar card with any QR Code Scanner or Google Lens app.

If the QR Code is not working or the details shown on scanning the code do not match with the details given on the Aadhar Card, then it means that something is wrong. Apart from this, there is also a hologram sticker on the original Aadhar card.

You can also verify from the UIDAI site
If you are not able to get the information through a QR Code, then you can verify the Aadhaar card by visiting the UIDAI site. For this, first of all, go to the UIDAI site and click on the Verify Aadhaar option or click on https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/check-aadhaar-validity.

After this, enter the Aadhaar number and captcha there and submit. Now you will see the correct age, gender, state and last three digits of the mobile number of the Aadhar card holder. By matching it with Aadhaar, you can find out whether that Aadhaar is real or fake.
