How to update your Aadhaar card online (Aadhaar Card Update Process)
First of all, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI.
Now login through your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number. To log in, you have to enter the OTP received on your mobile.
After this, go to the option of 'Aadhaar Update' and check your profile.
Now select the details you want to update.
After this, tick the checkbox 'I verify that the above details are correct' in the dropdown menu.
Now upload all the documents related to the Aadhaar update and submit.
How much charge will have to be paid for updating Aadhaar (Aadhaar Updation Charge)
After December 14, you will have to pay a charge even for updating your Aadhaar online. However, you will still have to pay an update fee for updating your Aadhaar card offline. According to UIDAI, a charge of Rs 50 is levied for updating the Aadhaar card.
Aadhaar users can update address proof, date of birth name etc. online. Biometric and photo updates will be updated offline only.
