Ingredients for making gooseberry curry
Amla - 15-20
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
Whole cumin - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
salt - to taste
Asafoetida - as required
Oil - 1 tsp

First of all, wash the gooseberry thoroughly with water. Now make a vertical incision on the gooseberry with the help of a knife. Put oil in a pan and heat it. Put cumin and asafoetida in them. Now put all the gooseberries and stir for a minute. Now put black pepper powder, turmeric powder, and salt in it and mix it well. Add little water and cook for 7 to 10 minutes. When the amla becomes soft after being cooked, turn off the gas.
