Along with Aadhar Card, Passport and Driving License, you can also use Voter Id Card as an identity card in many places. Before the introduction of the Aadhar card in the country, the voter ID card was considered the most reliable proof of identity of a person. Even now, where two identity cards are required including Aadhar card, voter ID card is given full recognition.

This is the reason why you should always keep your voter ID card updated. If you have moved from one place to another, then the change in your address must also be recorded in the voter ID card. Voter ID card address can be changed by any person online and offline. To update your address offline, you have to visit the Booth Level Officer (BLO) of your constituency. Your address will be changed after filling the form with the BLO and submitting the required documents.
