Ingredients for making Marathi Style Paneer
You need 250 grams of paneer to prepare this vegetable. It will require 1 tomato, 1 onion, 3-4 dry red chillies, 2 tbsp curd, 1 tsp whole coriander, 1 tsp kalonji, 1 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste. You need 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 cup butter, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp kasoori methi and 2 tbsp green coriander to give it a tangy flavor. You can keep salt and oil according to your choice.
Marathi style paneer recipe
1- To make paneer curry in Marathi style, cut onions and tomatoes.
2- Now soak the dried red chilies in water for some time and remove the seeds of soaked chilies.
3- Lightly fry cumin, fennel and coriander in a pan.
4- Now grind these whole spices in a mixer and make powder.
5- Make a paste by adding lemon juice to the red chilies that are soaked.
6- Now marinate the paneer with ground spices and red chili paste and keep it for 15 minutes.
7- Put oil in the pan and fry onions in it. After this add tomatoes and fry.
8- Now grind the onion and tomato in a mixer and make a paste.
9- In a pan, add light butter and fry the marinated paneer a little.
10- Put oil in another pan and fry ginger-garlic paste. Add onion tomato puree to it and fry it.
11- Now add red chili powder, salt and garam masala. Add little water and cook for 10 minutes.
12- When the gravy becomes thick, add paneer. It is ready to eat Marathi style paneer by adding kasoori fenugreek and coriander.
