Paneer Pakoda Recipe: Paneer Pakora is an evergreen food dish that can be prepared and eaten in any season. Ingredients for making Paneer Pakoras
Besan - 1 cup
Paneer - 250 grams
Rice flour - 2 tbsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Kasuri methi - 1 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
Baking soda - 1 pinch
Oil - for frying
Salt - as per taste


How to make Paneer Pakora

  • To make Paneer Pakora, first take paneer and cut it into 2-2 inch long pieces. After that keep them aside in a bowl. Now take a mixing bowl, add ginger-garlic paste, kasoori fenugreek, red chili powder, chaat masala and a little salt and mix it well. Now add paneer pieces to this mixture and marinate them well and keep aside for some time.
  • Now take another big mixing bowl, add gram flour and rice flour and mix it. Prepare the batter by adding water as per the requirement. Add turmeric, chili powder, asafoetida, chaat masala and mix well. After this, beat it well so that there are no lumps left in the batter and it becomes completely smooth. Now add baking soda to the batter and stir it slowly. Don't mix it too much.
  • After the gram flour batter is completely ready, now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. While the oil is heating up, take the pieces of marinated paneer and dip them in the gram flour batter and coat them well. After this, put one by one in hot oil and deep fry. Keep frying it with the help of a ladle till it turns golden brown. After that take it out in a plate. Finally, serve the prepared paneer pakoras with tomato sauce.
