  • To make Makhana Kheer, first take a deep pan. Add milk to it and let it cook on low flame. Put the makhanas in the milk and let it cook. When the makhana becomes soft, then add sugar or boora to it. Stir it well and cook it. Keep stirring in between. Add finely chopped cashews, pistachios and almonds to it. Now add cardamom to it and mix it.
  • You can also add saffron to it. Finely chopped pistachios can also be added for garnishing. Offer this kheer to Srihari and serve it hot. If you want, you can keep it in the fridge to cool down and eat it later. It looks very tasty either way.
