Important timings from 10 pm to 6 am

According to the rules of the railway, you can open the middle berth from 10 pm to 6 am. That is, if you have a lower berth, then the middle berth or upper berth passenger cannot sit on your seat after 10 pm. You can ask him to go to his seat by referring to the railway rules.

TT cannot check the ticket
Passengers often complain that after sleeping on the train, they get up and check the TT ticket. In such a situation, their sleep is disturbed and there is trouble. To remove this hassle for passengers and to make the journey convenient, according to the rules of the Railways, TT tickets cannot be checked during the sleep of the passengers from 10 pm to 6 am. But if your journey starts after 10 pm, then this railway rule does not apply.

Ban on listening to songs without earphones
Railway Board also receives complaints from passengers about listening to songs on co-traveller's mobile or watching videos in loud voices at night. Given this, the Railways have banned listening to songs or watching videos without earphones after 10 pm. According to the rules, after 10 pm you cannot listen to songs or watch videos without earphones. Not only this but talking loudly at night is also forbidden.

Action can be taken against the passenger
If your co-passenger does not listen to you, then you can complain to the railway staff present on the train for the same. It is the responsibility of the railway employees to come to the spot and solve your problem. If the co-passenger still does not agree, then action can be taken against him as per the rules of the Railways.
