Necessary ingredients

-Wheat flour - 2 cups

-Gum - 1 cup

-Poppy seeds - 1/2 cup

-Mawa / cream - 1/2 cup

-Coconut grated - 2 cups

-Sugar - 250 grams

-Black pepper - 5-6

-Desi Ghee - 300 grams

-Cashew nuts - 10

Recipe

-To make Gum Pak Halwa, first put ghee in a pan and keep it to heat on medium flame. When the ghee melts, add some gum and fry it and prepare the gum flowers. Take care not to pour all the glue at once as this can cause the glue to stick together. When the gum flowers are ready, take them out in a separate plate. After this, add chopped cashews and almonds in the same ghee and fry them lightly. With this, the aroma of cashew, almond will increase as well as their taste will also increase.

-Now take a vessel to prepare sugar syrup and put sugar in it. After this, add one and a half cups of water to the sugar. Now put the vessel on the gas to heat it. Keep in mind that we have to make syrup of one wire. As long as the sugar syrup is being made, in that free time, put the wok on the gas and fry the wheat flour in it. Explain that thick flour is put in the gum pudding because it does not stick to the gum pudding. When the dough is roasted well, then add black pepper and mawa to it, mix it well and cook. If mawa is not available, then cream can also be used instead. In the meantime, when the sugar syrup is ready, then turn off the gas. If you like more ghee in the halwa and you can increase the ghee as per your wish. After mixing the mawa/malai in the halwa, add poppy seeds to it. This will enhance the taste of the halwa and it will also give a pleasant aroma.

-After adding poppy seeds to the halwa, add a cup of coconut powder. After this we will put the previously prepared sugar syrup in the halwa and mix all the mixture well with the syrup. After this, half the glue prepared will be put in the halwa. When the gum is mixed well in the halwa, add cashew nuts, almonds and the remaining one cup of coconut powder. Now mix this whole mixture well with a ladle or hands. After that leave it for some time to cool down. Finally, when the pudding cools down, add the remaining gum to it. Let us tell you that by mixing all the gum in the halwa, the glue can stick together, that is why they are mixed half-and-half in the halwa. Now your delicious Gum Pak Halwa is ready. It can be served garnished with dry fruits.
