-1 cup rice and cup chana dal (both soaked for 5-6 hours and then drained)
-half cup sour curd and water
-2 tsp green chili-ginger paste
-1/4-1/4 teaspoon baking soda, red chili powder, and turmeric powder
-1 tsp oil
-salt to taste
-1 packet of fruit salt
-2 tsp oil
-half tsp mustard, sesame, and cumin
-4-5 curry leaves
-2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Put lentils, rice, curd, and water in a mixer and grind them well.
Make sure that the batter is neither too thick nor too thin.
Mix salt and turmeric powder in the solution and mix it.
Cover the mixture to leaven and keep it aside for 6-8 hours.
Grease a plate with oil.
Add oil, green chili-ginger paste, and fruit salt to the batter, mix well and immediately spread on a greased plate.
Sprinkle red chili powder on top and cook in steam for 10-15 minutes.
Take it off the flame and let it cool down.
Cut into pieces as desired.
Heat oil in a pan and mix all the ingredients of the curd.
When the mustard seeds crackle, pour the splash over the dhokla.
Serve garnished with green coriander.
