Ingredients for making Dahi Aloo Tikki
Potato - 1/2 kg
Curd - 1/2 kg
Rice flour - 1/2 kg
Onion chopped - 2
Capsicum chopped - 2
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1 tsp
Green chilies chopped - 3
Dry Coriander – 1 tsp
Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
Amchur - 1 tsp
green coriander
Mint
Oil
Salt - as per taste

How to make Dahi Aloo Tikki
-To make Dahi Aloo Tikki, first boil the potatoes. When the potatoes cool down, take off their peels and mash them all by putting them in a big pot. Now add black pepper, green chilli, chaat masala, mango powder, carom seeds, dry coriander, finely chopped onion, chopped capsicum, green coriander leaves, mint and salt to taste and mix them all well.

-Now add rice flour to this mixture and knead everything by mixing it well. Now prepare round balls from this prepared mixture. After this, press these balls in between the palms and prepare tikkis. Now take a nonstick pan / tava (griddle) and put some oil in it and heat it on medium flame. Now put the prepared tikkis in it for frying. Shallow fry the tikkis. Roast the tikkis until they turn golden brown in color from both the sides.

-Now put curd in a vessel and beat it well. After this, cut the onion into long shapes and prepare tamarind chutney and coriander mint chutney. Now first place two tikkis in a plate, after that put curd whipped on top and then mint chutney and tamarind chutney. After this, sprinkle onion paste on top and sprinkle chaat masala. Your delicious Dahi Aloo Tikki is ready to eat. Serve it hot only.
