Necessary ingredients
Raw Bananas - 6
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Coconut oil - for frying
salt - as per taste


Method Of Making: 

  • To make banana chips, first take a raw banana and peel off all of them. Nendra banana variety is considered very good for chips. If you want, you can use this banana for chips. After removing the banana peel, apply oil on your hands so that the banana does not stick to the hands. After this cut the banana slices into medium size. Put these slices in a big vessel, add turmeric and salt as per taste and mix it well.
  • Now add 8 cups of water to the chips and mix them well. By adding turmeric, the color of the chips comes off and they appear dark yellow in color. If you want, you can make this recipe without turmeric also. After some time, drain all the water from the chips. Now take a wok and put oil in it and keep it to heat on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add chips to it and deep fry it. When the color of the chips starts to turn golden brown and the chips become crispy, take them out from the pan and take them out on a plate. It will take about 10 minutes to fry it.
