Ingredients to make Asafoetida Potatoes
Potato – 5-6
Whole coriander - 1/4 tsp
Cloves – 4-5
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Gram flour – 2 tbsp
Asafoetida – 3/4 tsp
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
salt - as per taste

How to make Asafoetida Potatoes
To make tasty potatoes with asafoetida, first, wash and clean the potatoes and boil them in a cooker. After this, peel off the potatoes and cut them into one-inch pieces, and keep them separately in a bowl. After this add cloves, black pepper, and whole coriander to the mixer jar and grind them coarsely. After this, take out this spice in a bowl and keep it aside.

After this, put half a spoon of asafoetida in a small bowl and dissolve it in water. After this, put oil in a pan and keep it on medium flame to heat. When the oil becomes hot, put the remaining asafoetida in it and add gram flour and fry it well. When gram flour is roasted, add coarsely ground spices and mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.


Now put chopped potatoes in it and mix with the help of a ladle and cook. After cooking the potatoes for some time, add asafoetida water and mix it. After cooking the vegetable for 2 more minutes, turn off the gas. Delicious Asafoetida potato curry is ready. Serve it hot with roti, and paratha.
