New Rules from December 2023: The year 2023 is in its last phase and the last month of December is starting. With the new month new changes and rules are coming into effect. 1. New rules are coming for SIM cards
New rules related to buying and selling of SIM cards are coming into effect in the country from December 1, 2023. Earlier it used to be that people used to buy multiple SIMs simultaneously on one ID, but now from December 1, only a limited number of SIMs will be allowed to be purchased on one ID. Also, those selling SIM cards will have to complete the KYC process before registering and joining the system.

2. Inactive UPI IDs will be closed
Payment regulator NPCI recently issued a circular asking third-party app providers and payment service providers to deactivate such UPI IDs, which have not done any transaction with their ID for a year. The UPI ID of such inactive customers will be deactivated by December 31. Inward transactions will not be possible on such IDs, that is, funds will not be able to come, but payments will be able to be made.

3. Pension will stop
Pensioners have time till 30th November to submit their life certificates. If they do not submit their life certificate then their pension will be stopped, but if they submit their certificate before October next year, then their pension will be resumed.

4. Rules on HDFC Bank Card
Private bank HDFC Bank has made some changes regarding its Regalia Credit Card. In this, the limit of expenses for lounge access has been increased. Now to access the lounge, users will have to spend at least Rs 1 lakh in a quarter. To claim the voucher, the user will have to go to Smart By Pay and Lounge Benefits and submit the claim. Besides this, a condition has also been laid down that they will be able to avail of lounge benefits only twice in a quarter. A transaction fee of Rs 2 will also be charged for this.

5. Demat Nomination
The month of December will be the last chance for those having a Demat account to get their Demat nomination done. Nomination is required by December 31, 2023. For this, you will have to submit your PAN, nomination, contact address, bank details, signature, etc. Failure to do so will result in the folio being frozen.

6. LPG Price
The prices of commercial and domestic LPG cylinders in the country are revised on the first of every month. Domestic gas prices have been stable for the last few months, while the prices of commercial gas cylinders have increased in November. In such a situation, it has to be seen what decision the oil marketing companies take this month.
