Namrata Dutt says about the party in the house, "People always used to come to our house. January 1 was celebrated as the anniversary of Ajanta Arts. People used to come from all over the industry. For the guest, she (Nargis) used to cook Matka meat on a sigdi and seal it with flour. As soon as the Matka was opened, our foreign guests used to get soaked by its fragrance.

Nargis Dutt was the 'Lady in White'
Nargis Dutt used to stay busy with events and festivals. She used to choose the global fashion opposite the actress on that tour. When the Indian actress loved to keep her long hair, she used to have a shot crop hairstyle. Nargis maintained a balance between village desi style and urban style. She had a lot of interest in white sarees. She was called the 'Lady in White'.

Nargis did not wear jewelry
Namrata Dutt said, “She (Nargis) wore organza only with cotton and small studs. She never wore jewelry. She might have just worn small studs or pearls and two gold bangles. Later she started wearing Rudraksha beads. She used to chant on the same rosary."
